I FIRST GOT MYSELF INTO THE ACTUAL EMOTION
I always started with HATE. I spent some time getting myself into an angry state by thinking of something in the past that really pissed me off.
I then took out the HATE rice and put it on my kitchen table.
Using a timer, I unleashed HATE, RAGE AND DISGUST at the HATE jar of rice for one minute every day for 30 days.
I waited until later in the day to emote love to the LOVE jar of rice.
This was key because I did not want any of my hateful thoughts to trickle into the energy field of the LOVE jar. And, I wanted to go to bed feeling good!
I took out the LOVE jar of rice, set my timer for 1 minute and lovingly gave thoughts and emotions of love and gratitude to it.
I made sure to take some time to get myself into a fun loving state first by doing things like listening to music that I like or dancing around my living room.
It was on day 6 I saw the first signs of mold on the HATE rice. You can see it here in this picture. I took photos and videos on day 11, 19, 26 and on the last day, day 30.

THE RESULTS
I documented my findings on the 6th day, and also on the 11th, 19th, 26th and 30th day. Here are the results. You can clearly see that the HATE rice looks moldy! The LOVE rice has no mold and the IGNORE rice has a bit of mold! Isn’t that fascinating!
So, I can only assume that you and I, and everyone really are creator beings! What we focus on and emote affects reality in a kinds of ways… ways that are beyond our understanding
Knowing this, I decided to use this experiment as inspiration for a new belt design. You see, at one point during the experiment, I thought “Why don’t I get myself into a joyful, loving state every day, and then go to a mirror and emote love to myself! Since my experiment proved that this simple 1-minute per day act kept cooked rice from molding, surely it could have some sort of positive impact on my body!
My take away was this: we all have love inside of us. And happiness is a choice. We can do whatever we want! So why not choose to tune in and create with the love inside of us? Clearly that is POWERFUL stuff inside of us… this love thing.
This inspired a new direction of belts that have the words “love and truth” engraved on the back of the buckle, or inside the buckle. This acts as a metaphor for my take-away from the LOVE-HATE RICE EXPERIMENT.
THE TRUTH IS, WE ALL HAVE LOVE INSIDE OF US
This then inspired an idea for a new belt design. What I wanted to do was to engrave the word LOVE, LIGHT and TRUTH onto the back of one of the coolest buckels I could find. I chose to use a new German buckle and metal manufacturer and married the buckle to a strap which I refer to virtually indestructible.
I introduce to you THE BELT OF ORION.
It has the strength of our SLUG super durable belt. The buckle is nickle-free. The strap is 38mm wide (1 3/8″). It’s hands down one of the coolest vegan belts around. The Orion belt will launch in early 2020.
